Profile & Details:

Cornsilk, also known by its Latin name Zea mays, is the female blossom on a corn cob. Each piece of silk is pollinated by the tassel, resulting in a single kernel of corn on the cob. While corn kernels are eaten, mashed into cornmeal, and fed to livestock, dried Cornsilk offers a wide range of applications.

Corn silk is used to treat a variety of ailments. Corn silk is used to treat bladder infections, urinary system inflammation, prostate inflammation, kidney stones, and bedwetting. Congestive heart failure, diabetes, high blood pressure, tiredness, and high cholesterol levels are all treated with it.
