Profile & Details:
Why Does Raw Honey Condense? Two sugars—fructose and glucose—make up the majority of the super-saturated solution that is honey. It is a natural process for some of the sugars in a super-saturated solution to eventually come out of solution, just like with your powdered lemonade. Due to glucose, all raw honey will crystallize.
A smooth-tasting ginger tea made with raw ginger and honey is the end product, and it may assist with congestion, sore throat, sinuses, and more! Serve hot to warm your senses or iced for a pleasant treat; it is naturally caffeine-free.
Honey doesn't spike blood sugar levels as quickly as sugar because it has a lower GI value. You could need less of it because it's sweeter than sugar, but because it has a few more calories per teaspoon, I always pay special attention to serving quantities.
