Details: Assam tea is a variety of black tea that is grown in the Indian state of Assam. This tasty tea is high in plant chemicals that may help with immunity, heart health, and brain health. However, the caffeine content may not be suitable for everyone.
Tea Preparation
Water: The quality of the water used has an effect on the tea's quality. Always use filtered or freshly drawn water.
Temperature: Using an electric hot water heater or a stove top kettle, bring fresh water to a rolling boil or 212F.
Infusion Time: Choose your preferred infuser. Per person, measure 1 teaspoon of tea. Add an extra teaspoon to the pot if you prefer a stronger brew. When the water has reached the desired temperature, quickly pour it over the tea leaves. To keep the teapot warm, cover it. Carefully time the steeping and infuse for 5-7 minutes. Remove the tea from the pot as soon as it has finished steeping and lightly mix it.
