Profile: This mix has all of the scent and flavor of conventional Earl Grey with less caffeine, making it the ideal all-around, pleasurable tea. Try it with teatime cakes, with or without a lemon slice.
Details: Decaf Earl Grey is made with naturally decaffeinated black teas using a completely natural European process which removes 99.5% of the caffeine but retains all the flavor, color and aroma of the tea.
Tea Preparation:
Water: The quality of the water used has an impact on the tea's quality. Always use filtered or freshly drawn water.
Temperature: Using an electric hot water heater or a stove top kettle, bring fresh water to a rolling boil or 212°F.
Infusion Time: Once the water has reached the desired temperature, pour it over the tea bag right away. To keep the teapot warm, cover it. Carefully time the steeping and infuse for 5-7 minutes. Remove the tea from the pot as soon as it has finished steeping and lightly mix it.
