Profile & Details: Epazote, often known as Mexican tea, is a plant native to Mexico, Central America, and South America that belongs to the amaranth family.
To help with flatulence prevention, the herb is used as a condiment in quesadillas, chili, and other Latin American cuisine (especially those that contain beans).
