Profile: Common or garden sage is an Old World culinary herb that can be found in many kitchen gardens and pantries.
Details:
The entire leaf is used in cooking, just as sage powder. It tastes very wonderful when made into a sauce and gently cooked in butter for pumpkin ravioli. Additionally, whole sage leaves are tinctured, put to tea infusions, and used to brew infusions to create a conditioner and color-enhancing rinse for dark colored hair.
