Raspberry leaves have a taste similar to black tea, but without caffeine. The Olympian gods supposedly discovered raspberries on Mount Ida. Palladius, a Roman agriculturist, first domesticated raspberries. By the Middle Ages, it was utilized in paintings and illuminated manuscripts.
