Description

This flavorful gluten-free flour is a favorite in Indian, Pakistani, and other South Asian cuisines since it naturally contains a lot of protein and fiber. We import the finely ground gram flour from India.

Rich in Folate: Gram flour is rich in folate, a nutrient that stimulates protein production and helps make DNA. Gram flour is wonderful for youngsters and pregnant women since it may prevent brain and spinal cord problems. A half cup of gram flour has 200 mg of folate.

Powered by Protein: Gram flour out-proteins wheat flour. A half cup of gram flour has 10 grams of protein, against 6 in wheat flour.

Plant-Based Fat-Rich: Although gram flour has more fat than wheat flour, chickpeas are rich in unsaturated fat that may decrease cholesterol.
