Description
Profile: The coffee family's Morinda citrifolia tree is a tiny evergreen with broad, glossy, dark-green leaves. Small white blooms are produced together with rough, yellow-green fruit by this plant. Noni, originally from Southeast Asia and Australia, has become a tropical plant that grows naturally everywhere. Since ancient times, traditional Polynesian medicine and Ayurveda have both benefited from the restorative powers of noni fruits. You can take noni powder in capsule form, extract it, add it to smoothies, or steep it in herbal teas.
Details:
The noni fruit presumably originated in southeast Asia, India, and Polynesia, where it still thrives today, despite some divergent opinions. It has been put to use for more than 2000 years. Captain Cook, who saw the locals eating it, made the first Western record of it in the late 18th century. Different island groups use the fruit in various, distinctive ways. Red dye is made from the tree's bark, and yellow dye for garments is made from the root.
Long before the invention of modern medicine, noni was utilized as a balancing agent and was referred to in Ayurvedic writings as Ashyuka, which means longevity. Since the fruit itself has a strong aroma, taking noni in powdered form is more appetizing. Noni can be picked every month from the same tree because it doesn't have a "season" like other fruits do. The fruit is usually placed in a jar with water, and as the fruit begins to rot, more water is added to the jar to create the juice. The liquid is consumed gradually, typically before meals. Noni, also known as Indian mulberry, is a member of the Rubiaceae plant genus.
Our noni powder is created from the dried fruit's intact pieces.
