Description
Profile: Rooibos tea is also known as redbush tea or red tea. The leaves go through an oxidation process, which gives rooibos its distinguishing reddish-brown color and boosts the flavor. It has a natural sweetness and a rich, earthy flavor.
Details: Rooibos Tea is made in the same way as black tea, with the addition of milk and sugar (or stevia) to taste. Another option is to sweeten with a slice of lemon or honey instead of sugar. It's delicious both hot and cold.
Pour 8-12 oz of boiling water (212° F) over
1 tsp. of tea. Steep 3-4 minutes
