Description

Profile: The best brown rice flour is made from medium-grain brown rice. Stone milling is used to create our rice flour. This flour contains rice bran, which contributes to its creamy almond color.

Our rice flour is produced using a very fine setting to avoid the gritty flavor that many brown rice flours are known for.

Use in place of wheat flour in any recipe for bread.

Veggie Burger With Quinoa

Components: Recipe Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups cooked quinoa, 2/3 cups hummus or 1/2 cup mashed cooked chickpeas, 2 tablespoons water, 2 tablespoons tomato paste, 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed meal, 1 tablespoon soy sauce OR liquid aminoa, 1 tablespoon each of dried basil and dried thyme, 1 tablespoon each of ground cumin and ground coriander, 1 tablespoon each of paprika and garlic powder, and 2 tablespoons each of brown rice powder or vital wheat gluten. Salt


Instructions for Cooking: Preheat a nonstick frying pan to medium-low. The five minutes of stirring while dry roasting the cumin, coriander, paprika, and garlic powder. In a bowl or food processor, combine all the ingredients. Create 8 equal parts of the burger mixture, then shape each into a 3 inch patty. Cook for 5–10 minutes on each side, until browned and firm, in a little oil over medium heat. Place the patties between wax paper sheets on a baking sheet and freeze them uncooked. Cook as needed after storing in a freezer bag or plastic container (thaw in fridge or microwave).
