Uses:
In South Asian cuisine, this is a traditional dish. Serve with lentils, spicy curries, and stir-fries. Coconut milk, stews, and fresh vegetable soups are all good options. Rice pudding and other desserts will benefit from it.
Basic prep:
In a pot with a lid, combine 1 cup White Basmati Rice with 1-1/2 cups water. Bring to a boil, cover, and cook for 20 minutes on low heat. Allow 5 minutes to cool after removing from heat. As desired, season. Before serving, fluff with fork.
